How many of you have came up with a list of new year resolution?
I have yet done mine, but one of is find the job I like! but problem is what do I really like? Was reading this book and it says how to know if you really have passion for it? Ask yourself this “If you have all the $$ in the world, would you still do it?” I find this question is really useful.
If I have all the $$ in the world, I still would want to teach, empower people, influence people! I will still like to do website or mini program on my own i guess. 3rd thing i would still love to do is investment!
Hope this has help everyone identify their dream job upon graduation!

First post of the year! hahaa…couldn’t make it for last post of previous year so might as well made this first post of the year!
Firstly, wanna talk about our new family member: Bubi !!!
so cute!!! haha…today i just let it run about on my leg and body, so itchy when it run under my knee, on my feet…….hahaha. Hamster have a very short memory, so everyday I tried to make it a point to at least have a bit of interaction with him. But…sometimes I am really too busy..that i remember there is once i am dozing already when playing around with him!
Luckily i didn’t get a cat / dog, man….cannot commit plus not enough time for it lor!
Next I would like to talk about result…….yes I am damn proud of my result this time round!

Actually all except 4254 are more or less my expected grades….but I was rather worried this time round…..to the extend I actually looked for leak! In past few sems, sometimes I even forgot all about result release…..until near that day I suddenly remembered. Not that I am not worried but just not as worried as this time round. Why? Cos last semester I took my first lvl 4000 mod and I did badly ( a B lah….but I am expecting A range grade!) … so although this time I am expecting some As in my grade, I am rather worried my lvl 4000 will turn out like last sem. This is very important, why? Cos the more As i get, the more secure my 2nd upper honours is.
Somemore this is the first time I check results in office i guess, LOL. At first look I thought i get A-, B+, B+, A..I was like oh…OK not too bad, quite OK, then as I talk to a fren , then i realise…..I see wrongly! I mistook an A+ for a B+ LOLOL…I am so so so so happy! hahha. Although this A+ is really unexpected!
Another thing i really must say is interest really is impt too, CS4266 is a difficult module, well known for xiong-ness and chim-ness…..but this is also the module I liked most and learnt most among all the above. Must believe in scoring it, but of cos…I did put in a lot of effort into this module. Hee…
Also I would like to thanks all my team mates, if not for u guys, I might not be able to handle 4 modules + CS1101 teaching…hee!
So happy to say my cap is now 4.17……..highest ever in my uni life. Suddenly I see chances of getting into dean’s list this year…my final chance. But well most importantly is still my 2nd upper. But these few days…I suddenly have this thought, if i am more serious in my studies since year 1…work less like this sem….would I score better? Would I have a chance to get first class?
But well…..thinking again….studying so hard is really not quite my style…..haha, satisfied with current grade, if can get into dean’s list this year, would be double joy lah, but even if cannot I won’t be sad, afterall is just a kind of fullfillment. Really cannot imagine I am the gal who in the past used to play all my time, and study only 1 day before exam…..or even worst in poly, study only from morning onwards for a afternoon/evening paper!
Never once in my life am I so hard working than in my uni life….but I must say 4 years in uni….my life changed quite a bit.
New semester coming…on top of my 3 level 4000 core electives, I decided to take one extra module out of my degree requirement.. originally wanted japanese language but now exam clash, so I am thinking of french…mmm. Actually i thought of my interest understanding the universe, but i feel is not so useful plus the course seems more science n maths than astronomy to me…..so I decided to take something useful in life. I did consider real estate finance since I am keen in property investment (although i have no $$ to do so ^^| but i always like the idea of buy a house, rent it out , like what robert T. said before, 4 house 1 big hotel , 4 houses 1 big hotel! haha). But unfortunately the exam date is also on the same day as my core elective~~ so thats why french came in……LOL. hope i am not looking trouble for myself!
Anothing I am considering is if i should go n learn driving, but giving the thoughts that housing loan is coming in…i think i better save $$ for it…so I guess i won’t bah.
How…..still cannot decide if i should take french………..tml is bidding day liao!!! Back to work~~
