For the first time I feel sad abt a module ending..

This is the first time i feel so sad about a module ending neh! My japanese class ending in like 2 weeks time, so sad….how i wish it can just continue on!

日本語の勉強はとてもおもしるいですね。私はとでも好き ですね。 でも、クラスは終わります soon, sad >< 先生はとてもおもしろいですね。 そしてとでもすてきですね。 Especially 藤井揚子せんせい、堀江せんせい、らいせんせいですね。せんせいのクラスがとでも楽しいですね。

先 週の木曜日バスで藤井せんせいにあいます。 日本語クラスはしち時終わりました、そらから、友達に日本語の本を return ました。 そして YIH のバスデで百五十一番バスへいんいました。 それから、バスでせんせいにあいました。 Very happy to see sensei on bus ne, cos my chance of 日本語を練習します comes again ^^ and I really enjoy talking to them although is quite 難しいが、とてもおもしろいですね。

She sits right behind the door and i waved to her then i moved to the back, but I see no crwod on bus so after a while i overcome my shyness ( yes…i will shy also ^^| ne), i walk to her and says 『よくあいます』 which means we met very often ne (she said that to me the previous time we met…and took me a while to understand what she said neh although i learnt these words liao). Guess what? I scared her ne! …. she stunned ( u know..that kind of reaction like pple frightened u out of your dreams!)…LOLOLOL… i so paiseh that I kept saying 『すみません』, in the end she also kept saying that…i think she quite paiseh abt it also^^|. I think the scene must be damn funny…two person on bus kept saying 『すみません』.

One thing i realise also ….is if there are something that she dunno how to say in English and is too chim for me to understand in Japanese, kanji is the way for her to tell me ne. Sensei very funny leh, wanna give up her seat to me^^| Of cos i never take lah, then mid way some pple get down and we seat down together then she spot the 日本語の本 that i am holding and ask me 『日本語を勉強しますね』 LOL…… I said i worried abt oral then she say is easy =.= dotz…wahahaha

Thoughout sensei used some words that I dunno and have to say wakarimasen ne ><

疲れました。。。 think i suppose to know ne….but i dun >< is lesson 12 vocabulary!

Think she quite stun when she heard my 両親 は働きません、 still ask me twice…LOL. Then i told her my 2 brothers and I are working…..which i said wrongly >< 二人 (ふたり)、I said に人 。。。LOL..cui-ed!

After that わたしたち歩いて、せんせいは NTUC へいきます、私はつぎのバスデへいきます。

Overall, although we talked more than previous time, i still feel my nihongo never improve much from previous time ne >< sad….

Enough abt my Japanese sensei, this weekend is really a project / report madness weekend. So busy to complete reports for all my mods. So far…left 4267 report + 4258 final milestone + 2 x presnetation slides then i am done for all assignment for my lvl 4000.

Wanna finish all these fast and concentrate on preparing for my nihongo oral and then start revising for exam man.

Also … must finish booking all the accomadation for my trip then i can chunk all these aside..and mug mug mug neh!

Busy but happy!

This week has been a busy week!

Changed my tuesday class to monday because I need to go down to microsoft for meeting with my boss. very interesting…hear and see alot more abt silverlight and stuff.

Then wednesday must go down “there” to sign … hee, i still pretty noob at such things, forgot to ask alot of things!

Then today even more interesting….shoot video for NUS! omg…first time i put on make up …i am like so super not used to it! I feel like a star! got pple help me check if need to add on make up midway … help me wipe sweat^^| they are really nice people and i really enjoyed myself no doubt i am quite nervous^^|

But i really mean what i say…haha…i am indeed very thankful!

after all these busy days..finally i can seat down and blog. Next time i need to do is mug mug mug…ensure i get my 2nd upper…haha..super impt!

Book hostel and transport for my europe trip! I really pei fu my friend…our europe trip just have a new intake! now is 3 gals haha…she really super on…..both of them super onz! hahaa….amazing!

Job market – is it really that bad?

For the past few months we have been hearing retrench, freeze hiring and stuff on news and papers. BUT…is it really that bad?

I have friends who get 4 offers…and ultimately got 1 more which is now she is accepting. I have another friend who got an offer from bank, one got offer from IBM and maybe DSTA…Lastly…both me and another NUS student gets offer too

Are we lucky? or is it that the news and reporting have been over-reporting the seriousness of the job market so that companies can use it to reduce their offering pay?

I wonder which is the one….people around me also have different views…I have friends who says the offer I got is very good already considering the job market now…but i also have friends who says…the pay is low. So which is which? personally i like the job scope…of course i aimed for a higher pay but then in this economy situation … me too think is an acceptable amount.

Although i do know there are places that over more….but the problem is would the job scope interest me as much or more? I have no interest in getting a pure programmer job even with a higher pay (ok…maybe if the pay super high will attract me….but then worth it or not?)

Anyway … i really wonder man….is the job market really that bad? If you say we are high flyers that why we get job offering..thats not exactly true…yes although there are some with potential 1st class honors…me a 2nd upper….but inside also have friends with 2nd lower….

I think is how aggressive and how well you perform at the interview. One thing i have learnt through interviewing at big company…is ultra competitive…taxing and it really test alot of ur instant thinking. You have to speak …ask and answer question (every seconds of “air point” counts), and ask and answer indepth questions….else it only reduce your chances….cos empty vessel…make alot of noise also no use.
