Yes..again abt work…wahhaa, I got alot to say abt work because..now my whole life seems to rotate abt work only! waahhaha
no lah, is because these 2 weeks my japanese class stopped as weekday class is not big enough to start so now i joining weekend class. Plus this week I cleared one project + 1 event, so was rather busy with these 2 and now that it is over, I feel so good about it!
Although i dunno if it is considered done well, personally i think the event was pretty good! haha..my first event in my life ( for > 10 pple). Happy and learned alot of things. I also see warmth, colleagues are very kind and helpful, without their help the event wouldn’t be so successful.
Alot of things i learned too, must also take the welfare of those who are helping you into consideration, e.g. lunch for the people who help you carry those tables and chairs.
E.g. things can work even if play by ear dun need to get too gan chiong.
Colleagues are very nice, they helped me without even me asking, so touched. The nice people here are making me abit can’t bear to leave this department for another. But then again I must go through the whole rotation in order to experience every aspect.
So all in all, i wanna say THANK YOU ^_________^
Lastly…I think i shd read up on lateral management, i should work on that! very impt! + even better time mgmt! (not that my time mgmt are bad…but just i believe it still have room for improvement!)
For the first time in my life…I find it so hard to communicate! omg…… i tot i speak computer language already…. as a IT person myself, yet I still encounter communication problem with x!
I think i need to speak not only computer language but also in mainframe man! But on top of this..i realised i bitch/complain too much abt this issue…..shd talk less abt this cos i think it would reflect badly on me too! shhhhhhhhhhhhh
But then again..i just like to complain abt it…nothing personal or what………I still love my work, just this somehow made me doubt my own capabilities! gam ba te for tml! omg!
Today went for lunch with a colleague J. While waiting for her at the lobby run into my another sup…also my interviewer during my final round. He says I reminds him of J during the interview. J herself also says I am similar to her.
I was pretty surprise! Why? cos how come 2 person find me similar to J (including J herself) yet i totally clueless……hahahaha
But through more interaction, yes indeed we have some similarities^^| The alikeness is not in terms of look…but rather the feeling n style bah.

Mmmm……cannot think more. but thinking of this..reminds me of another interns..where we got many alike also…wahahhahahhahhahahaha
She was saying I looked like someone from Hwa Chong or nanyang gals…LOL, i shocked. It seems people from JC have certain traits or looks that allows one to recognise which JC they are from? (haha..so SP pple have SP look?)
Previously, when I go diving….someone also say I don’t look like I am from Poly! mmm………..actually all the while I thought I always portrait myself like a poly/ex poly student?…since when I started giving people impression I am from JC?
Today OT again….must be more efficient tml! target to leave at 6.30pm with all work for the day done! Time flies so fast at work…I must work even faster to catch up with the time man!
This video been around for sometime….think since I went backpacking. Decide to post it on my blog as I think I should be very proud that I am one of the selected students to represent and promo for NUS. Also for future memory sake^^
It was an unique experience as it is the first time I put on make up and on top of it, I have make up artist to do it for me. When filming, she is even there to help me wipe my sweat!
But frankly speaking, personally i think the make up is a bit too thick.
Filming experience is also very interesting, ask me to act cool, to look at the sky…to turn my head along with the camera, to laugh … etc. Hahha…some of the things they ask me to do is so weird!
But nonetheless, I am very proud of this video….heee! I realise i missed out something, I enjoy teaching CS1101 also ! forgot to mention it….but teaching also leaves a memorial memory!

- Learning Japanese language. (LAJ1201 is the module that I enjoyed the most in my life, I looked forward to every class and feel sad and down when the class ended for the semester!)
- Doing CS3214 (yes! 3214!!!! hahaha…who could forget?)
- 2 x Orientation camp
Still remember there was once I wanted to have cup noodle after doing project …9pm….so hungry and yet to our horror, we don’t have utensils! OMG!!!! In the end we walked to NUH to take chopsticks.
Gonna miss the hot pot there also……

So this is how I start off my long weekend!
Somethings about work:
TA…good or bad I still wonder but then I certaintly like the idea that I can voice my preference of work and thus love my job scope now!
Business Analysis work – 60% of my time
3 projects each at 20% of my time (3rd project coming in today!)
Staff Assistant work – 40% of my time
- organise event -> 10%
- framework -> 20%
- newsletter -> 10%
Am I stretched? Yeah man…i certaintly felt so but at the same time I felt there is still room for improvement on my time mgmt. Been working till 7pm for the past few days! I still believe all these can be done within working hours (9am-6pm)!
My new interest is to “catch” soft toy! haha…is an expensive hobby.
Last friday just went to marina sq with sis n her fren to catch doll doll.
Caught myself a yoshi (after spending $5), my sis got herself a Rilakkuma and Ivy got herself an ichigo (strawberry) seal! All very cute right ^^
Actually i think the yoshi for $5 is a steal! but i just threw away $10 in < 5mins while trying to get a stitch in graduation gown ><
My sis also wasted $10 in someother thingy….but she managed to get the Rilakkuma in just $4. Ivy got hers after…dunno how many tries but my sis and I was so excited abt it when it was about to drop down! hahah..so high.
Its fun…but also abit ouch..when u cant get any soft toy. But once u get it…u kept wanting to play it more!
hahaha..shall try to control abit! 1 month once….if not too wasteful (i try….mm..very gian to go play again ><)
Next thingy…is …I had a weird dream last nite…omg. Makes me wonder if I am subconsciously like tat? hahaha…which is the real me? e one in e dream or e me waking? is kinda disturbing ><
3rd thingy: Japanese studies-> aoba dun have enough students to open basic 3 class on tuesday night so bo bian..i gotta take sat’s class! so guys…sat 2.30 to 5.30pm I will be unavailable for 3 months starting from 22nd aug!
Will be late for Natsu Matsuri on 22nd aug too >< mmm…anyone wanan go?
But one good thing…aoba is giving free conversation lesson while I need to wait for my basic 3 in compensation for delaying our basic 3 classes. (originally suppose to start on 4th aug on tuesday).
Lastly..abt work. Finally know my KPI for this 4 months! wahh….is alot of things…suddenly i have alot to do…but feels very motivated too! hahaha…tml n tuesday have impt presentation + organising an event for my department! Dear god please bless me that I will perform well for these and others in my KPI!
hahah..been so long since I last blogged that I got so many things to write! but need to go sleep le to prepare to chiong for tml’s work! No time for lunch tml..and yet i forgot to buy instant noodle >< Gam Ba te!!!
